Winter Blues

Having moved to Arizona 18 months ago, I’ve learned not to comment to much on the cold back home in Wisconsin.  It’s a bit unfair when it’s freezing there and in the 60’s to 70’s here.

This card, however, says it all.

My folks have my cat (really their cat now) and dad keeps the bird feeders well stocked.  These images are perfect to show just how much it pains her to see the birds eating and flitting about but not be able to do anything about it.  Of course, she’s never caught a bird in her life but it pains her regardless.

The images are from a company that I’ve just recently discovered:  Gerda Steiner Designs.  The images are fun, many of the sets come with matching dies and there are digital offerings too.  Oh and free shipping on orders over $40 which is amazing!

The images come on a clear sheet in a plastic package.  The dies come on a magnetic sheet (!!!!!) also in a plastic package.  If you hang your dies, they work perfect as the come.

I like to store my dies and my stamps together and these fit perfectly in a 4 x 6 Sizzix envelope.  It’s my organizational dream come true.

The images stamp clear and cleanly.  I’m so happy with these and the digitals are more of the same.  Very clean, sharp lines.

I’ve stamped a few of the images and am looking forward to more coloring (the UNICORN!) and card making.  In the meantime, be sure to check out their offerings.

Cheers!

Hahaha…Can’t tell you how much I love the idea of the little kitten looking out of the window! I not even thought about that designing this little grumpy – but it makes so much sense! It would also be perfect that he just looks out into the rain. 😀 Thank you, Gerda
